Trade turnover between Bashkortostan and Kazakhstan is 82% export

As part of the implementation of the national project "International Cooperation and Export," the foreign trade turnover of Bashkortostan with Kazakhstan for January-June 2024 was 82.5%, represented by the export of regional products, the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations of the Republic of Bashkortostan reported.

The department noted that Kazakhstan is one of the republic's key counterparties. In the first quarter, the region's export deliveries to this country's market comprised 37.3% chemical products, rubber, 15.5% food products and raw materials, and 11.7% wood, pulp, and paper products.

Kazakhstan also imported mineral products, metals, and products made from them, engineering products, other goods, textiles, textiles, and footwear from Bashkortostan.

On September 9, an online consultation on cooperation with partners from Kazakhstan in the trade and manufacturing sectors will be held for entrepreneurs interested in expanding the geography of their product deliveries. The speakers will talk about the current structure and potential of Russian non-resource, non-energy exports, promising areas of development in the Kazakhstan market, the specifics of ensuring foreign economic activity, algorithms for promoting Russian goods and services, creating joint ventures, and the particulars of settlement and financial support for transactions and investments.
