Republican project has improved living conditions of 400 thousand people in Bashkiria

The program "Bashkir courtyards" has become the most large-scale in terms of funding. During its implementation since 2019, 1,326 courtyards, uniting 2,153 apartment buildings, have been improved in the region for a total of 6.5 billion rubles. 400 thousand people live in the buildings whose courtyards were included in the project. In 2024, it is planned to improve another 142 courtyards for a total of 1 billion rubles.

"We initially conceived the program so residents would be maximally involved in the process and interested in the result. The improvement project is being developed, taking their opinions into account. This is correct - only the house's residents know what their courtyard should be like. As a result, non-standard, unique territories are appearing throughout the republic," said the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov. Some of the courtyards have already been landscaped and accepted by residents, while the work is entering its final phase in others. As before, the mandatory activities include installing modern children's and sports grounds with safe rubber surfaces, arranging a parking area, landscaping the adjacent territory, video surveillance installation, outdoor lighting, and small architectural forms.
