Bashkiria delivered 38 tons of cheese to Serbia

Since the beginning of the year, the Belebey dairy processing plant has exported 38 tons of hard cheese to Serbia, according to the Bashkir department of Rosselkhoznadzor. In particular, at the end of August, 19 tons of Gouda cheese with a 45% fat content were sent from Bashkiria to the friendly country.

The manufacturer has passed export certification and is included in the Register of Exporters in the FGIS Cerberus. The products have passed laboratory tests for compliance with the importing country's requirements and received a 5D export veterinary certificate in the eCert system.

Bashkiria exports its agricultural products to 44 countries worldwide. 59% of shipments are oil and fat products—vegetable oil, meals, and cakes. Over the past year, the region's agricultural exports increased by 79% compared to 2022. Bashkir enterprises shipped almost 748 thousand tons of their goods for $338.6 million. The most profitable type of trade is deep processing products with high added value, such as cheeses.

As part of the national goal "Decent and effective labor and successful entrepreneurship," the national project "International Cooperation and Export" is being implemented. Its goal is to ensure by 2030 real growth in the export of non-raw material non-energy goods by at least 70 percent compared to 2020, Bashinform News Agency reported.
