Bashkiria continues to prepare haylage. This feed has been prepared at more than 97% of the required level—more than 1 million tons. Hay has been prepared at 408 thousand tons or 58% of the planned level.
Meanwhile, silage preparation is gaining momentum; farms in 18 districts are currently working on it, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkiria reported.
More than 64 thousand tons of succulent feed have been prepared, more than 6% of the planned volume. The farms in Tatyshlinsky District have prepared the most silage—31.4 thousand tons.
More than 1.4 tons of coarse and succulent feed units have been prepared per head of cattle in the republic, or 57% of the planned requirement.
