According to the Bashkir Statistical Agency, developers have stopped building residential buildings lower than 6 floors in Ufa. In 2023, 1.2 million square meters of residential buildings were commissioned in the city. 6-16-story buildings account for 26.1% of buildings, and 17-story and higher buildings account for 73.9%.
As experts note, this is due to the economic efficiency of high-rise construction, which allows for more housing on limited sites, and the development of construction technologies.
Earlier, it was reported that the Ufa City Council approved amendments to the Land Use and Development Rules concerning the requirements for the architectural and urban appearance of capital construction projects.
