Horse breeders of Bashkortostan have won more than 300 million rubles in grants in five years since 2019. Thanks to active participation in the federal grant programs "Agrostartup," "Family Farm," and "Agrotourism," 76 entrepreneurs developing horse breeding have become recipients of state support.
Thanks to federal and regional programs and the support of the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, entrepreneurship in the region's agro-industrial sector is actively developing.
In 2019-2023, state support for 3.312 billion rubles was allocated to develop small businesses in the agro-industrial complex of Bashkortostan. 552 jobs were created. This year, more than 422 million rubles are allocated for these purposes, and it is planned to create 100 jobs. The republic ranks second in the country in horse population (128 thousand heads) and is the leader in kumys production. This trend has been maintained for 15 years, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan reminded.
