Bashkiria provided 9.3% of total honey production in Russia
According to data for 2023, the Republic of Bashkortostan is the leader in honey production in Russia. 5.9 thousand tons of honey were obtained—this is 9.3% of the total production volume in the country. On average, one Republic resident receives 1.45 kilograms of bee product.
The most delicious honey was determined at the Tatly Bal competition, which was held in Ufa, and collected 174 samples from different regions of Russia. The honey was evaluated by experts from Bashkortostan and other subjects of the Russian Federation: Dagestan, Krasnodar Krai, Moscow, and Tomsk. The Republic of Bashkortostan took first place in the nominations for linden, sunflower, honeydew, and comb honey.
