

Bashkiria farmers are harvesting feed and grain crops in abnormal climatic conditions, the head of the RB agricultural department, Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, emphasized at an operational government meeting.
“As of today, 5 percent of grain and leguminous crops have been harvested, and 7 percent have been mown. The gross harvest has exceeded 350 thousand tons. The yield is currently 3.17 tons per hectare. The top three are Sterlitamak, Aurgazinsky, and Davlekanovsky districts,” said the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government – Minister of Agriculture of Bashkiria.
In addition, winter crop harvesting continues in the region. To date, 105 thousand hectares have been threshed, and 337 thousand tons of grain have been threshed. The yield of winter crops is 32 centners per hectare.
"We are simultaneously preparing forage. As of today, 50 percent of the annual requirement has been prepared," added Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.
