The republic is actively participating in the federal project "Agrotourism." About 59 million rubles of budget funds have been allocated for 9 projects that have passed the Russian Ministry of Agriculture selection. This was announced at an operational government meeting by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria, Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov.
According to Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, the flow of tourists to the sites should be about 16 thousand people by the end of 2024 and twice as much by 2025. The Russian Ministry of Agriculture announced a competition for the "Agrotourism" program in 2025. Nine rural tourism projects from the republic have been submitted for participation in the application campaign. The results will be available by the end of August.
The head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, has repeatedly noted that Bashkiria, with its unique nature, has significant tourism potential. The infrastructure must be developed to grow the tourist flow, and the number of accommodations must be increased.
"As many people as possible should see the amazing nature of Bashkiria. Therefore, developing tourist infrastructure is one of our most important issues. We are moving forward so that residents and guests of the republic can relax with us in Bashkortostan," wrote Radiy Khabirov on his Telegram channel.
