Bashkiria exported 5.5 thousand tons of rapeseed oil to China

The regional office of Rosselkhoznadzor reported that Bashkiria's oil extraction enterprises exported 5.5 thousand tons of rapeseed oil in the first seven months of 2024.

"The main country importing rapeseed processing products for vegetable oil was the People's Republic of China, where this product, the richest source of unsaturated fatty acids, is in high demand," the supervisory agency explained.

The Bashkiria Office of Rosselkhoznadzor inspected all 257 batches of vegetable oil weighing 5.447 thousand tons before shipment to China. The selected samples of quarantine products underwent laboratory tests. According to the results of the examinations, no harmful quarantine organisms were found in the oil. Rapeseed oil from Bashkiria meets the importing country's requirements; 257 phytosanitary certificates have been issued for the products. Let us recall that within the framework of the national goal of "Decent and effective work and successful entrepreneurship," the national project "International Cooperation and Export" is being implemented. Its goal is to ensure by 2030 a real growth in the export of non-resource, non-energy goods of at least 70 percent compared to 2020, Bashinform News Agency reported.
