As reported by the city administration's press service, under the national project "Safe High-Quality Roads" in Ufa, work was carried out to mill the asphalt concrete pavement of the bridge over the Dema River. Currently, expansion joints are being repaired.
"Roads are an incredibly complex story. But this is our most important priority. And people ask us about it. Because it is convenient and beneficial for economic development. And most importantly, it is safety. A good road gives people confidence that their lives are not in danger on the road. And we will not spare money for this," the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, emphasized earlier in his Address to the State Assembly—Kurultai of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The top layer of asphalt is planned to be laid on the night of August 8-9 to prevent traffic congestion.
"In total, this season in Ufa, under the national project "Safe High-Quality Roads," 12 sections of the street and road network were included in the work plan: on Zatonskoye Highway, the Ufa-Shaksha highway, Blagovarskaya, Zorge, Kolskaya Street, Ufa River Embankment, etc. The total length is more than 29 km, 21.12 km more than in the previous year: then seven sections of Ufa roads were brought to standard condition," the municipality noted.
