Farmers from Chishminsky District are expanding vegetable production

The Galikeyevs, a married couple from the village of Eremeyevo in the Chishminsky District of Bashkortostan, have been growing vegetables in closed ground for several years. As the district business sheriff, Ruslan Urazmetov, told in the Radiy Khabirov group for communication with businesses on social media, last year, they received targeted assistance based on a social contract to develop a personal subsidiary farm. As a result, the area of ​​the greenhouse was almost doubled to 420 sq. m. Cucumbers are grown in the heated greenhouse using drip irrigation.

Now, the entrepreneurs plan to increase production volumes and expand the range. For these purposes, they need an additional plot of land to grow vegetables, strawberries, and greens. They presented the project for developing their farm to the district administration. The farmers' initiative was supported, and a plot was selected. The Galikeyevs, in turn, are ready to purchase large volumes of strawberry seedlings, covering material, and an irrigation system. They were also invited to apply for participation in the competition for a subsidy under the municipal program "Development and support of small and medium-sized businesses in the municipal district."
