In January-July 2024, Bashkiria farmers purchased 1,421 units of equipment worth more than 6.627 billion rubles. The republic is implementing a republican program for the modernization of the technical fleet of the agro-industrial complex, the implementation of which is under the special attention of the Head of the region, Radiy Khabirov.
According to information from the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Bashkortostan, this year, the region's farms purchased 220 tractors, 106-grain harvesters, 14 self-propelled forage harvesters, 32 self-propelled sprayers, 330 tillage, and seeding machines and implements, and other types of equipment. The department plans to buy equipment worth 1 billion rubles monthly.
The harvesting campaign is currently underway in the region. Farmers will have to harvest more than 2.2 million hectares of crops. The republic's farms have about 4,000 grain harvesters—140 units more than last year. Technological capabilities for harvesting grain and leguminous crops allow threshing up to 60,000 hectares daily, with an average load of 440 hectares per combine.
As part of the Republican program for modernizing the technical fleet of the agro-industrial complex, farmers are subsidized for up to 50% of the costs of purchasing machinery and equipment. In 2024, 1 billion rubles were allocated from the republic's budget. Bashkir farms received subsidies for 3 billion rubles for sowing, most of which came from the republican budget.
