Co-financing under the long-term savings program has been extended to 10 years

The National Bank of Bashkiria reported that the term of co-financing under the long-term savings program has been extended to 10 years. Citizens who have entered the long-term savings program (LSP) will receive additional payments from the state for 10 years. Previously, co-financing from the state budget was available only in the first three years.

LSP started at the beginning of 2024. From January to May, 12.5 thousand residents of the republic joined it. Contributions exceeded 145 million rubles.

To receive money from the state under the LSP, you need to open an account with one of the non-state pension funds (NPF) and deposit at least 2 thousand rubles annually.

The size of the state supplement depends on the person’s earnings. The principle is this: the lower the income, the more significant the increase. If monthly earnings do not exceed 80 thousand rubles, the state will add to the account the same amount as the LSP participant himself contributes. Those who earn from 80 to 150 thousand rubles a month will receive another half of the amount deposited into the LSP account. For a salary of 150 thousand rubles or more, a quarter of the amount contributed to the program is added. However, the maximum additional payment from the state to one person will be 36 thousand rubles per year, regardless of how many LSP agreements he has and what amounts he puts on them.
