

In the first four months of 2024, exports of Bashkir products to Turkmenistan increased 5.1 times compared to January-April last year. The ministry reported this.
In addition, Bashkiria exported engineering products, such as wood pulp and paper, to Turkmenistan.
At the end of 2023, Turkmenistan took 27th place in the ranking of counterparty countries of Bashkiria, thereby rising by 22 positions. At the same time, mutual trade turnover with Turkmenistan over the past year compared to 2022 increased 4 times, and exports—4.4 times.
The basis of export supplies were products of the chemical industry, rubber (52.5%), food products and raw materials (25.8%), fuel and energy products (12.6%), and engineering products (7%). In addition, Turkmenistan imported wood, pulp, paper products, metals, and products made from them from Bashkiria.
Bashkiria's top 10 counterparty countries in terms of foreign trade turnover in 2023 included China, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, Latvia, Kyrgyzstan, Germany, and the Netherlands.
