Bashkortostan delegation participated in International Exhibition And Forum “Russia” closing ceremony

The press service of the government of Bashkortostan reported that the Bashkiria delegation, led by the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic Andrey Nazarov, took part in the closing ceremony of the International Exhibition And Forum “Russia” in Moscow.

The chairman of the exhibition organizing committee, Sergey Kiriyenko, the first deputy head of the Russian Presidential Administration, thanked the regions for their contribution to the exhibition, which was included among the top 10 most visited places on the planet.

“More than 18 million people visited the exhibition. This is several times more than our wildest forecasts. The main thing here is not quantity but quality - people's emotions and feelings. 96% of visitors admitted that they learned something new about their country. 99% - that they felt a sense of pride in being Russians and residents of a particular region. 97% said they felt part of a larger whole. And it's thanks to you! Four months of preparation and eight months of the exhibition: everyone involved put a piece of their soul into it - from the president and governors to heads of corporations, enterprises, journalists, volunteers, and workers,” said Sergei Kiriyenko.

Prime Minister of Bashkiria Andrey Nazarov participated in the closing ceremony. He noted that throughout the exhibition, the republic demonstrated its achievements and potential in various fields. Bashkiria presented innovative projects and technologies and emphasized its openness to new ideas and partnerships.

“The republic’s stand in the form of a spaceship aroused enormous public interest; no one had ever done this. Our exposition has become one of the most popular among visitors. We showed the involvement of regional authorities and work on developing their territory. Bashkortostan reserves the following challenge - to continue its development and deepen cooperation with other regions and countries. His participation in the “Russia” exhibition was a successful step on this path, and the republic is ready for new projects and initiatives to create a favorable environment for innovation and investment,” said Andrey Nazarov.

Since the opening of the international exhibition, the Bashkiria team has held more than 30 thematic days-weeks, about 300 master classes, 51 presentations, and 10 large enterprises of the republic presented their products at the stand. On December 3, at the “Russia” forum and exhibition at VDNKh in Moscow, the Day of the Republic of Bashkortostan was held, one of the elements of which was “Winter Sabantuy.” During the exhibition, five couples from the republic tied the knot, and 12 vouchers to the Bashkir sanatoriums of the republic were raffled off. Throughout the entire period, visitors to the exhibition received unique gifts from the region, including Bashkir honey in tubes, which are made to be sent to ISS cosmonauts, and souvenir packs of Bashkir soda - a total of 45 thousand of them were distributed.

The international exhibition and forum “Russia” was held in Moscow on November 4, 2023, and will end on July 8, 2024. During its operation, more than 18 million people visited the exhibition. They got acquainted with the achievements of all regions of the Russian Federation, including the most prominent companies, federal structures, and public organizations. Guests of the exhibition saw advanced technological developments, breakthrough discoveries, and significant victories of Russia in industry, culture, and sports.
