Trade turnover between Bashkiria and Kyrgyzstan increased by 41.1%
Trade turnover between Bashkiria and the Kyrgyz Republic in January-April of this year increased by 41.1% compared to last year. 99% of the trade turnover was the export of products from Bashkiria. The press service of the government of the Republic reports that this allows us to conclude that the implementation of the national project “International Cooperation and Export” is adequate.
The export indicator also showed a significant increase—by 43.6%. Export deliveries comprised 42.1% mineral products and 19% metals and products made from them. In addition, chemical industry products, such as rubber, wood, pulp, paper, food products, raw materials, and more, were supplied from Bashkiria to Kyrgyzstan.
In the region's total trade turnover in 2023, the Kyrgyz Republic is in 8th place with a share of 3%, having risen in the ranking of the republic’s counterparties by six positions. Bashkiria is interested in increasing export supplies of the following goods: sunflower, safflower, cottonseed oil, medicines, insulated wires, cables, joinery, and carpentry products.
