In the Beloretsky district, repairs to an overpass across the railway near the village of Ulu-Elga continue as part of the national project “Safe Quality Roads.” According to the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Belarus, road workers have begun installing cones and cementing the seams between beams 107 meters long.
The overpass is planned to be in regulatory condition by the end of 2024. More than 120 million rubles have been allocated for its repair.
The overpass is partially closed during repairs. Only one lane is left for transport, and traffic is organized in reverse, following a traffic light.
This year, two overpasses across the railway and one bridge over the Syuryunzyak River will be repaired on the Ufa-Inzer-Beloretsk highway. This will improve road safety in the popular tourist destination.
In total, 16 bridge structures are being repaired in the republic in 2024. Of these, 8 bridges and overpasses totaling 419 meters will be put into operation this year.
