Over 400 000 tons of milk were produced in Bashkiria in six months

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic noted that from the beginning of the year to July 4, agricultural enterprises and farms in Bashkiria produced 403.5 thousand tons of milk, which is 3.8 thousand tons more than in the same period last year.

The farms of the Chekmagushevsky district are already traditionally in the lead. Their share accounts for more than 10% of all regional milk produced in the year's first half - 43.4 thousand tons. The increase in milk yield in the region during the reporting period amounted to more than 4 thousand tons.

The Ilishevsky and Aurgazinsky districts are in second and third place, respectively, where the milk yield in agricultural companies amounted to 29 and 28 thousand tons. Also, enterprises and farms of the Dyurtyulinsky, Sterlitamak, and Meleuzovsky districts passed the mark of 20 thousand tons of milk.

As of June 21, milk yield was 373 thousand tons.
