12 industrial investment projects received preferential plots in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, 12 investors implementing projects in the construction and light industry since the beginning of the year have received preferential land plots. Their total area was almost 45 hectares.

The Ministry of Land Property of the Republic noted that this became possible thanks to a simplified procedure for providing land plots without bidding for projects aimed at import substitution.

“A huge amount of work has been done to remove as many obstacles as possible from the path of active entrepreneurs who are ready to build and create. A simplified procedure for providing land plots without bidding for projects aimed at import substitution was introduced at the end of 2022 and still arouses the interest of many entrepreneurs and investors. We expect a further increase in the number of land plots allocated for production, accelerating industry development in the region and creating new jobs,” commented the head of the Ministry of Land Property of the Republic, Natalya Polyanskaya.

Enterprises that received the benefit produce office furniture, boats, and other rubber, metal, and chemical products. Each such project allows for the formation of new competencies of entire industries and, ultimately, is part of a strategic approach to developing the republic’s economy.

Also, plots are allocated for tourism facilities and projects in the agricultural sector according to a preferential procedure.
