Bashkiria and Almaz-Antey concern will cooperate in UAVs development
The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, and the general director of the Almaz-Antey aerospace defense concern, Yan Novikov, entered into a cooperation agreement.
Interaction between the republic and the company will be carried out in the field of organizing research, development and production of unmanned aircraft systems and their components, as well as the integration of UAVs into a single airspace, development of the innovative potential of the transport industry of the region and Russia as a whole.
It is noted that the cooperation was organized to implement the key tasks of the national project “Unmanned Aircraft Systems” (UAS) and the strategy for the development of unmanned aircraft, which was approved by the Russian president.
Previously, Bashinform told how the UAV industry is being formed in Bashkiria. The republic is rightfully considered one of the leading regions in forming a new industry, which experts have repeatedly noted.
Bashkiria was the first in the country to register a drone cluster. It is interregional and unites 13 enterprises, not only from Bashkiria, but also from the Tula, Ryazan regions and Karelia.
