The Bashkiria stand at the XI Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus in Vitebsk was recognized as one of the best. The Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Padalko, stated this in response to journalists' questions.

The annual event has been held since 2014 under the patronage of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus. In 2024, the Forum was held in Vitebsk. The Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus aims to deepen the integration processes of the Union State, strengthen interparliamentary, trade, economic, scientific, educational, and cultural ties between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation, expand business contacts, and develop promising areas of bilateral cooperation.

As the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic—Minister of Economic Development and Investment Policy Rustam Muratov said, Belarus is today an important strategic partner of the Republic.

Over the years, the Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus has acquired the status of a traditional dialogue platform for representatives of government authorities and business communities of the two states. The main topic of the Forum’s business program in 2024 was “The role of interregional cooperation in building the innovative economy of the Union State,” reports the press service of the government of the Republic.
