Russian government will allocate more than 24.5 billion for children's treatment
The Russian government continues to work to support children with life-threatening and chronic diseases. In 2024, the government will allocate over 24.5 billion rubles to the “Circle of Good” state fund.
Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said at a government meeting, “Federal funding will make it possible to provide treatment to a larger number of children with rare and severe diagnoses.”
The State Fund “Circle of Good” was created by the President of the Russian Federation's decision. In 2023, the fund provided expensive medicines to almost 2.5 thousand children; about 300 more received the necessary medical products and technical rehabilitation equipment.
The list of drugs purchased through the fund is consistently expanding. New complex and unique techniques are used to help children.
