

The volume of exports from Bashkortostan to Turkey increased by 17.4% compared to last year. Such data for January–April 2024 were provided by the Minister of Foreign Economic Relations and Congress Activities of the Republic of Bashkortostan Margarita Bolycheva. The exchange of goods is carried out within the national project “International Cooperation and Export.”
In 2023, Turkey, among partner countries, took second place in Bashkortostan's foreign trade turnover with a share of 13.7%. At the same time, the indicators of mutual trade turnover with this country and exports increased by 111.7% and 123.2%, respectively, compared with 2022. The basis of export supplies from Bashkortostan to Turkey were engineering products, chemical products, rubber, food products and raw materials, mineral products, wood and pulp and paper products, metals, and products made from them.
The representative of the Republic of Bashkortostan at the Trade Mission of the Russian Federation in Turkey, Marat Tansykkuzhin, spoke about investment cooperation and industrial cooperation with the Republic of Turkey.
Enterprises of the Republic of Bashkortostan, which is interested in conducting export activities, will participate in a webinar from the Russian Export Center JSC (REC JSC) on July 9 on working with the Turkish market. During the consultation, participants will discuss the process of preparing and adapting goods and services for the Turkish market, localization of production, international payments and transactions, and business communication ethics for concluding an export contract. The webinar speakers are the Chairman of the Board of the Council for the Development of Foreign Trade and International Economic Relations, Maxim, Chereshnev, and the representative of REC JSC in the Republic of Turkey, Timur Safin.
