The President of Russia signed a law (No. 144-FZ “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation”), following which a unified register of organizations engaged in developing and producing unmanned aircraft systems and their components will be created. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will generate and maintain the register. Organizations included in the register can receive various government support measures. The document was published on the official legal information portal.
Previously, Bashinform News Agency told us how the UAV industry was being formed in Bashkiria. Bashkiria is rightfully considered one of the leading regions in creating a new industry, which experts have repeatedly noted. The Republic began developing this area about three years ago.
The republic was the first country to register a drone cluster. It is interregional and unites 13 enterprises from Bashkiria, the Tula, Ryazan regions, and Karelia.
