Public hearings on city budget execution were held in Ufa

Public hearings were held at the Ufa Children's Philharmonic on the draft report on executing the republic's capital budget for 2023.

Aidar Zubairov, chairman of the Commission for Public Hearings and the Standing Committee of the Council on Budget, Finance, and Taxes, led the event.

The head of the city district, chairman of the Ufa City Council Marat Vasimov, the city’s deputy corps, first deputy head of the Ufa Administration Sergei Kozhevnikov, heads of structural divisions of the Municipal Administration, and others also participated in the hearings. A total of 510 Ufa residents attended the hearing.

Written proposals from Ufa residents were accepted from May 29 to June 9. Thus, the Commission for Public Hearings received 105 appeals from citizens. At the hearings, 15 capital residents publicly expressed their opinions on the project.

Rustem Akbashev, Deputy Head of Administration - Head of the Financial Department of the City District Administration, made a report as part of the event.

“The total revenues and expenses of the city budget in 2023 amounted to 46.8 billion rubles and 46.2 billion rubles, respectively. The main items of replenishment of the city budget are tax and non-tax revenues (40%) and inter-budgetary transfers (60%). Budget expenditures ensured the fulfillment of planned obligations to citizens provided for by current legislation and the financing of priority needs and critical projects,” noted Rustem Akbashev.

Following the Regulations on Public Hearings, the commission will consider all proposals received and give an opinion.

The results will be summarized at a meeting of the commission for public hearings and posted on the Ufa City Council's website in the “Conducted public hearings” section.
