10 billion rubles will be invested in transport hub construction in Bashkiria

At the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov and President of the Romex-Kuban company Alexey Prokopenko signed an agreement on the construction of a wholesale distribution center in the Ufa region. The center is planned to construct large warehouses, organize parking for loading and unloading, have on-site driveways, and park trucks and buses. The investor plans to invest at least 10 billion rubles in the project by 2028, reports the press service of the Republic.

Bashkortostan and Romex-Kuban already have experience of effective cooperation. Today, this company is building an OZON wholesale distribution center in Blagoveshchensk. The declared investment volume of the project is 6 billion 20 million rubles. The Republic helped with the search for a suitable land plot and the registration of labor migrants, resolving wastewater disposal and energy supply issues. The properly structured system for supporting investment projects impressed the company's management so much that cooperation was continued in an even larger-scale project.

The president of the Romex-Kuban company, Alexey Prokopenko, emphasized the Republic of Bashkortostan's significant role in creating comfortable conditions for business in the region.

Selecting and registering a future logistics hub land plot is underway. We are considering a 14.3-hectare plot located near the Dubki, Bulgakovsky village council, Ufa district, and Ufa airport. To implement the project on this site, changes to the territorial planning documents of the Bulgakovsky Village Council and changes to the category and type of permitted use of the land plot are necessary.
