Investments in trade and catering increased by 19% in Bashkiria

The volume of retail trade turnover in the first quarter of this year amounted to 339.7 billion rubles, with an increase of 14% compared to January-March 2023, considering inflation. The Minister of Trade of the Republic, Aleksey Gusev, announced this at an operational meeting of the republic's government.

“In terms of the absolute value of retail trade turnover, we occupy 2nd place in the Volga Federal District and 8th place in the country,” the minister noted.

Wholesale trade turnover for three months of 2024 amounted to 414.7 billion rubles. This is the third result in the Volga Federal District and 13th place in the Russian Federation. The growth was 10% compared to last year.

Public catering maintains active dynamics, growing by 23% compared to the previous quarter. According to this indicator, the republic is first in the Volga Federal District and fourth in the Russian Federation.

The republic has more than 3.5 thousand public catering establishments (140 thousand seats).

At the end of 2023, the growth of investments in the industry amounted to 19% by 2022, which is 9.4 billion rubles.

According to the department, 138 projects are underway in trade, public catering, roadside service, and warehouse logistics, with a total investment of more than 60.5 billion rubles. Of these, 70 are included in the Priority List.

As part of the Concept for developing roadside services, 63 facilities were implemented in January-March, and 57 were modernized.
