More than 325 thousand tons of milk were produced in Bashkiria by end of May
According to the Republican Ministry of Agriculture, the dairy industry in Bashkiria achieved a significant milestone by the end of May, producing more than 325,000 tons of milk.
Farms lead the dairy ranking in the Chekmagushevsky district, where the figure was almost 34.5 thousand tons (+3.2 thousand tons by 2023).
In second position is the Ilishevsky district (23.2 thousand tons),
in 3rd place - Aurgazinsky (22.6 thousand tons),
at 4 – Dyurtyulinsky (18.6 thousand tons),
at 5 – Sterlitamak (17.3 thousand tons),
at 6 - Meleuzovsky (16.5 thousand tons),
7 – Ermekeevsky (14.1 thousand tons) districts.
Milk yield per cow since the beginning of the year has amounted to 3 thousand kilograms.
Milk production increased by 1% (+3.3 thousand tons) compared to the end of May 2023.
