Another bank began issuing mortgages for housing in Crimea
VTB Bank began issuing mortgages for real estate in Crimea. Crimeans and residents of other regions of Russia will be able to apply for it, the bank’s press service reported.
The bank issued the first loan to purchase an apartment under construction in Simferopol. The borrower completed the transaction remotely while in Khanty-Mansiysk. The loan amount was 3.2 million rubles.
It is possible to carry out a transaction remotely or at a bank office in any region of Russia convenient for the client and in Crimea—at four RNKB Bank offices in Simferopol, Evpatoria, Sevastopol, and Yalta. In addition, clients can apply for a loan for Crimean properties in person at any VTB branch in Krasnodar and Rostov-on-Don.
From May 2024, Crimeans can also get a mortgage from a credit institution for real estate in any other region of Russia.
