The All-Russian investment sabantuy “Zauralye-2024” ended with a big sabantuy in the Abzelilovsky district - the first this year in the republic. Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic Andrey Nazarov announced this in his Telegram channel.
Sabantuy gathered about 2,000 participants and more than 10,000 guests from Bashkortostan, Russia, China, Uzbekistan, and the Republic of Belarus.
Forum participants from different countries experienced the hospitality of the people of Bashkortostan and the traditions of celebrating this fun and kind folk holiday. They were met by representatives of 10 Bashkir clans: Usorgen, Kypsak, Beryon, Tungouer, Yurmaty, Tabyn, Tamyan, Katai, Eile, and Men. Guests were shown a horse parade and horse racing, folk games and entertainment, and local cuisine—one of the best in the world.
“For centuries, the residents of Bashkortostan have been known for their hard work, unity, and ability to relax widely and beautifully. Many families with children attend the holiday today, meaning folk traditions will live and continue. Congratulations to all Bashkortostan residents on the completion of the sowing season. I wish you a good summer and bountiful harvests!” wrote Andrey Nazarov.
According to the press service of the government of the Republic, the holiday program was full of activities. Expositions demonstrated the uniqueness of Bashkortostan in ten rural settlements of the Abzelilovsky district and ten republic districts. They created an ethno-village with felt yurts and elements of traditional life. About 40 artisans showed their skills to the guests - blacksmiths, saddlers, carpenters, beekeepers, tanners, jewelers, ceramics, felt felting, chest, kuray, and kubyz makers. Master classes were organized for everyone. There was an exhibition and sale of decorative and applied art products, a theatrical performance, “We are together!”, a horse parade of 100 participants, horse racing, a national wrestling competition, “Koresh,” and professional and amateur groups performed at a concert.
