Russian Petrochemical Forum in Ufa brought together more than 300 enterprises

On May 21, the Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, attended the opening of the Russian Petroleum and Gas Chemical Forum and the 32nd specialized exhibition “Gas. Oil. Technologies" in Ufa.

“Traditionally, the capital of Bashkortostan hosts a petrochemical forum. We are happy that the number of participants increases every year. This year, more than 300 enterprises from 38 constituent entities of the Russian Federation presented their achievements. The forum provides an opportunity to communicate, learn from experience, and establish the necessary connections. For Bashkortostan and the Russian Federation, the petrochemical complex is the basis of the economy.

Today, I would like to thank the heads of companies in the petrochemical complex for their active investment. We see how modernization processes and the opening of new industries and enterprises are constantly taking place. In such difficult times, our economy withstands all tests with dignity. And, of course, there is a huge role for our complex and the leaders of this most important strategic area of ​​the economy,” said Radiy Khabirov at the opening ceremony.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia Mikhail Yurin and Deputy Chairman of the Board - Head of Department of PJSC Gazprom Oleg Aksyutin also expressed greetings.

Radiy Khabirov also presented state awards of the republic to workers in the petrochemical industry.
