Chinese investor intends to build engine production plant in Bashkiria

Representatives of the Bashkortostan delegation, currently on a visit to the PRC, held a meeting in Shenyang with the Chairman of the Board of the Kehen Investments company, Cai Kelin. During the meeting, the possibility of creating automobile engine production in Bashkiria was discussed, as reported by the press service of the government of the Republic.

During the negotiations, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkiria - Minister of Industry, Energy, and Innovation Alexander Sheldyaev said the republic has a strong base for developing the automotive industry. He focused on the conditions for doing business in Bashkiria and the infrastructure for comprehensive support of investment projects. Alexander Sheldyaev noted that Bashkiria is ideal for implementing a project to produce automobile engines and promised maximum support from the republic.

Mr. Tsai Kalin expressed his high readiness for a joint project with Bashkiria. The Chinese partner was invited to the “Investment Hour” session with the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov. The future production is planned to be built in Agidel.
