Turkish delegation will take part in Trans-Urals forum in Bashkiria

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Turkey Tanju Bilgiç, Chairman of the Governing Council of the Association of Russian-Turkish Entrepreneurs Erdem Adjay, and Chairman of the Board of the Mir Holding Ibrahim Mirmahmutogulları will take part in the All-Russian Investment Sabantuy “Trans-Urals-2024”. Members of the Association of Russian-Turkish Entrepreneurs and about 20 leading Turkish companies operating in Russia will also arrive to participate in the forum. In addition, on the forum's sidelines, an agreement is planned to be signed on the joint production of sunflower hybrids between Turkish and Bashkir enterprises. The press service of the government of Bashkortostan reported this.

Based on the results of two months of this year, Turkey ranks second in Bashkiria's total foreign trade turnover with a share of more than 9%. Our trade relations continue to strengthen. In particular, in January-February of this year, mutual trade turnover increased by 28%, and exports increased by 25%. A project is being implemented in the republic to build a plant for the production of bridge and crane beams with the participation of Turkish investors.

As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, the All-Russian Investment Sabantuy “Trans-Urals-2024” will be held in Sibay from May 24 to 26 this year. More than 20 sessions are planned, devoted to developing tourism infrastructure in the Trans-Ural region and creating the Ural SEZ. In addition, issues of developing public-private partnerships, training of qualified personnel, artificial intelligence, data economics, and others will be discussed at the investmentsabantuy site.
