The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic reported that agricultural enterprises and farmers in Bashkiria purchased 633 agricultural machines worth 2.8 billion rubles in January-April.
This includes 107 tractors, 34 grain harvesters, over 200 tillage machines, and other equipment.
“Thanks to the modernization of the technical park, plant growers in the region can complete the sowing campaign in a short time - in 2-3 weeks, under favorable weather conditions,” the department noted.
The current sowing campaign employs 12.43 thousand tractors - 180 more than in 2023. This year's total area of spring sowing is 2.1 million hectares, of which 924 thousand hectares were sown by May 14.
In Bashkortostan, there is a regional program to update the technical fleet of the agro-industrial complex. Under this program, farmers are reimbursed up to 50% of the costs of purchasing agricultural equipment. Over five years, from 2019 to 2023, republican agricultural producers were paid 7.2 billion rubles in subsidies.
