Since the beginning of 2024, more than 1,165 tons of imported fruits and vegetables have arrived in the region under the control of the Rosselkhoznadzor administration for the Republic of Bashkortostan.
In particular, more than 1,003 tons of white cabbage, tomatoes, turnips, radishes, carrots, tangerines, oranges, and lemons came to Bashkortostan from the republics of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and Turkey. 140 tons of crushed rice were imported from the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Samples of imported regulated products, meticulously selected in 126 batches, strictly adhering to the phytosanitary safety requirements of the Russian Federation and the countries of the Customs Union, underwent comprehensive laboratory tests in the Bashkir testing laboratory. These tests, including entomological examinations, ensured no harmful quarantine organisms were identified in regulated products. As a result of this rigorous process, the Rosselkhoznadzor office for the Republic of Bashkortostan issued quarantine phytosanitary control certificates for all batches of regulated products, providing a seal of safety for our consumers.
According to Rosselkhoznadzor's technical specifications, the region received just over 375 tons of regulated products for the same period in 2023.
