1.5 million flowers will be planted in Ufa this year
Flower planting has started in Ufa. On the eve of the Victory Day celebrations, the most active work is being carried out in the areas where festive events will occur. These are Victory Park, the squares of the 112th Bashkir Cavalry Division, the 50th anniversary of the Victory, Mustai Karim, which stands near the municipal building, and other areas.
Petunias, marigolds, and cineraria, carefully selected for their vibrant colors and resilience, are traditionally used in flower arrangements and are a treat for horticulture enthusiasts.
Gorzelenkhoz workers had planted over 125 thousand annual flowers. This year, the republic's capital will be decorated with almost 1.5 million flowers, of which 900 are perennial.
