4.3 billion rubles have been allocated for farmer support in Bashkiria

In 2024, about 4.3 billion rubles will be provided for direct state support of the agricultural sector of Bashkiria. 1.9 billion rubles of this will be supported by the federal budget. Deputy Prime Minister—Minister of Agriculture of Bashkiria Ilshat Fazrakhmanov announced this at an operational government meeting.

Out of the total funds, a significant portion of 2.562 billion rubles is allocated explicitly for spring fieldwork, a crucial aspect of agricultural operations. Deputy Prime Minister Fazrakhmanov highlighted that this year's sowing campaign will cost 24.2 billion rubles, a 7.5% increase from last year. In addition to direct government support, farmers are encouraged to take advantage of the accessible credit funds preferentially. So far, the Russian Ministry of Agriculture has approved 460 applications for 11.7 billion rubles, with 221 applications for 6.7 billion rubles of loan funds since the beginning of this year.

Under the scheme of preferential investment lending, 39 applications worth 3.4 billion rubles have been submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, with 17 applications worth 672 million rubles already approved. It's important to note that applications are still being accepted, providing a timely opportunity for farmers to secure the necessary funds. Farmers can also avail of preferential short-term loans, with a subsidy limit of 486.3 million rubles.
