The official visit to Azerbaijan of a delegation of representatives of the agro-industrial complex of Bashkortostan is coming to an end. Within its framework, a meeting was held between the Deputy Prime Minister RB—Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov and the Ambassador of Russia to Azerbaijan Mikhail Evdokimov. The press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Bashkiria informs.
During the meeting, the main prospects for cooperation between Bashkiria and Azerbaijan were discussed, and these were determined as a result of the three-day work of the delegation in Baku. It was noted that after the meeting of the Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan, Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev, on April 22, an increase in trade and economic cooperation between the two countries is expected. Therefore, the delegation of Bashkortostan farmers arrived in Baku on time, becoming one of the first to visit the capital of Azerbaijan after meeting the countries' leaders. All this gives hope for fruitful cooperation in all areas of the agro-industrial complex.
In addition, a delegation of Bashkortostan farmers visited Azerbaijan's agricultural innovation center. During the visit, the main areas of cooperation between the two countries were specified. These are the joint creation of farms for goose farming based on the experience of Bashkir farmers, the supply of lentils, rye, buckwheat, and other grains and legume seeds to Azerbaijan, the organization of equipment repair, the production of spare parts and much more. Bashinform previously reported on other agreements reached during the visit.
