Bashkiria agro-industrial potential was presented in Azerbaijan

The official delegation of Bashkortostan farmers, led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB—Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov, is paying a visit to Azerbaijan. During a working meeting with the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elchin Zeynalov, Ilshat Fazrakhmanov presented the potential of the Bashkiria agro-industrial complex. He spoke about the region's investment potential and measures to support agricultural producers, the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture RB reports.

During the visit, it is planned to find common areas for cooperation with Azerbaijani colleagues. Bashkiria is the largest region, with 60% Muslim population. Therefore, in the republic, significant volumes of agricultural products are produced according to Halal standards; many enterprises have received appropriate certificates recognized by Arab countries. At the same time, the republic is increasing the export of agricultural products.

In addition, negotiations took place with Muhammad Gozal, the general director of Azersun Holding, which is developing the agro-industrial sector. The Azerbaijani side became interested in Bashkiria's high potential. The parties considered the possibility of supplying milk powder from our republic.
