Bashkiria economic potential was presented to Prime Minister of Uzbekistan

Prime Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov met with Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov and presented our republic’s economic opportunities. Andrey Nazarov posted about it on his Telegram channel.

“We came to Tashkent with the understanding that Uzbekistan has enormous potential, and we are ready to develop further cooperation in various fields. During the first day, entrepreneurs of our republics held more than 250 negotiations and reached several agreements,” Andrey Nazarov noted.

Next, the Prime Minister of Bashkortostan gave examples of some of the agreements reached. Thus, the Eurasian Research Center and the Karshi Engineering and Economic Institute will cooperate in petrochemicals and joint educational projects. Neftekamsk company Iskozh will begin supplying knitted fabrics and cotton yarn. The Bashkir company Ecolaris will supply chemicals for water treatment to Forte Mercato. In addition, road maps for the development of cooperation with the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan were signed, and a cooperation agreement was concluded with the Uzkimyosanoat state corporation, within the framework of which a joint technology park will be created.

“We are interested in purchasing fruit and vegetable products from Uzbekistan and are ready to offer high-quality agricultural machinery and increase the volume of supplies of milk powder, sunflower oil, and hatching eggs. For Uzbek companies, Bashkortostan can become a logistics hub - as one of the pilot regions for developing wholesale food markets. Uzbekistan is interested in organizing stable supplies of our agricultural products. It sees great prospects in developing industry, energy, electrical engineering, and chemistry cooperation projects. We agreed to expand cultural and humanitarian ties and projects in education and tourism. Abdulla Aripov proposed developing a road map between Bashkortostan and Uzbekistan. It will make it possible to effectively work out joint activities and monitor the actions of all participants in the process. We continue our work,” Andrey Nazarov posted.
