Uzbekistan will supply fruits and vegetables worth more than 1 billion rubles to Bashkiria

At the international exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia”, the Bashkir enterprise “Eurasia - Ufa” and a sales company of Uzbekistan signed a contract for the supply of fruits and vegetables worth more than 1 billion rubles. The Bashkiria's Minister of Trade and Services, Alexey Gusev, reported this to the Bashinform agency.

As the minister explained, we are talking about almost all vegetables and fruits grown in Uzbekistan.

He also added that the signed contract aims to meet the internal needs of Bashkiria and the neighboring republics. "Eurasia—Ufa" is today the largest distributor of dried fruits in Russia. The traffic that supplies many regions of Russia with Uzbekistan dried fruits passes through our republic.

“We plan to increase supplies here so that not only our residents but also neighboring regions receive tasty, high-quality finished products of Uzbek origin,” the minister said.

As Bashinform reported, in Tashkent on the sidelines of the international forum and exhibition “Innoprom. Central Asia”, a “road map” was signed for the development of cooperation between the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan (Uzbekistan) and the government of Bashkiria, designed for 2024–2026.
