Bashkortostan and Uzbekistan intend to create a joint technology park
As part of the official visit of the Bashkortostan delegation to Uzbekistan, the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan signed a cooperation agreement with Uzkimyosanoat JSC. The agreement involves cooperation in creating a joint technology park in the Tashkent region, reports the press service of the government RB.
The signing of the agreement was attended by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation - Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov.
– The signing of the agreement took place with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the government of Bashkortostan. This is a critical step aimed at developing business contacts and introducing new international practices into the activities of preferential zones. The Development Corporation, as the management company of the Ufimsky Industrial Park and the Alga Special Economic Zone, has extensive experience in creating such parks. We are ready to share our expertise in developing, managing preferential zones, and attracting investors to its sites,” said Nail Gabbasov, General Director of the Development Corporation of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
The Uzkimyosanoat company unites several chemical enterprises of the Republic of Uzbekistan, which produce more than 170 types of chemical products. The products of the enterprises of Uzkimyosanoat JSC are in demand not only in the Uzbek market but also in countries near and far abroad.
The official delegation of Bashkortostan, headed by the Prime Minister of the Government RB Andrey Nazarov, is participating in the International Industrial Exhibition “INNOPROM. Central Asia” in Tashkent.
