The Ministry of Land Property of Bashkiria and the peasant farm Mirkhaydarov G.G. entered into a lease agreement for a land plot in the Iglinsky district with a total area of 169.4 hectares. The farmer plans to implement a project to preserve and breed the Bashkir horse breed. He intends to invest 33.5 million rubles in creating a feed base for 500 horses. The site was provided under a simplified procedure without bidding, as for a project with high import substitution potential, the press service of the government RB reports.
Let us recall that by decree of the government of Bashkiria No. 916-r dated August 5, 2022, agriculture and raw milk production are defined as import-substituting activities.
The farmer’s initiative aims to increase the number of cattle and breeding work with the Bashkir breed of horses. It will also provide kumys and other products to residents of the republic and other regions. Among the expected positive effects of the project are the creation of new jobs, an increase in the tax base, infrastructure development, and the formation of a positive image of the region and the republic.
