First Bashkir-Chinese Trade House appeared in Ufa

The establishment of the first Bashkir-Chinese Trade House in the republic marks a significant milestone. This Trade House, operating under the auspices of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bashkiria, is the result of a strategic agreement with MAIKEN INDUSTRIAL MATERIALS CO., LTD, a prominent Chinese company. The Russian and Chinese parties hold 51% and 49% participation shares, respectively, in this venture, as reported by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry RB.

“The Trade House was opened with the support of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It will ensure reliable payments, provide turnkey services for foreign economic activity and customs support, and of course, scientific interaction will be worked out here - competent preparation of technical specifications for the acquisition of production technologies and equipment,” said Timur Khakimov, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry RB.  “An operation of a direct run to China has also been worked out with JSC Russian Railways Logistics, which will serve the interests of the Trade House and ensure the necessary efficiency and open up new prospects for further cooperation. The development of this area is carried out on behalf of the Head of Bashkiria Radiy Khabirov.”

The decision to establish the Trade House in Bashkiria was not arbitrary. It was a well-considered move, taking into account the region's industrial potential, logistical advantages, and its significant contribution to the development of cooperation with the PRC. Furthermore, a business mission to the PRC is already in the pipeline for May 2024, indicating the proactive approach of Bashkiria in fostering international economic ties.
