In May, 11 cruise ships are planned to call at Ufa. Applications from shipowners have already been received. The Ufa River crossing service director, Konstantin Shakhtarin, provided this information.
The practice of large river cruise ships calling at the capital of Bashkiria began in 2022. Considering the Belaya River's level, this is only possible in May and early June, when the river rises during the spring flood.
As Bashinform News Agency reported, Ufa received 20 tourist ships during the 2023 navigation season. On May 2, the largest river cruise ship in Russia, Mustai Karim, with 213 tourists on board, and the motor ships Alexander Pushkin and Bashkortostan, with 140 passengers, arrived in the republic's capital.
