Technology companies can receive 12 million rubles for innovation in Bashkiria

Technology companies in Bashkiria can receive a grant of up to 12 million rubles to implement innovative projects—applications for the Business Start competition are open.

As the Ministry of Industry of the Republic explained, this year, in addition to companies that have already implemented their projects under this program, enterprises with revenues of up to 100 million over the last 3 years can now participate.

“Particular attention will be paid to projects in import substitution, services, components, and technological chains. One of the main innovations this year was including small technology companies in the list of applicants for the grant. If a company is on this register, then at the assessment stage, it will receive an additional point,” said Deputy Prime Minister—Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovation Alexander Sheldyaev.

To receive a grant, a company must guarantee at least 30% co-financing and complete the project in no more than a year.

The Innovation Promotion Foundation holds the Business Start competition to implement the federal project “Takeoff—from startup to IPO.”

In 2023, the Ufa companies Himmotolog (10 million rubles to expand the production of a digital analytical system for monitoring fuels and lubricants) and Biomedkhim (12 million rubles to develop a biological product for processing and neutralizing waste) received financial support.
