Changes were made to Bashkiria’s budget by 8 billion rubles

Deputies of the State Assembly adopted the law “On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Bashkortostan “on the Budget of the Republic for 2024 and for the planning periods of 2025 and 2026.

As the speaker of the Bashkir parliament, Konstantin Tolkachev, noted at the plenary session, budget revenues in 2024 were adjusted by 8 billion rubles.

“The increase in revenue is mainly due to two factors. Firstly, the forecast for personal income tax revenues has been improved - this will add 3.9 billion rubles to the treasury. Secondly, the forecast for the profitability of securities of the largest enterprises has been revised: optimistic expectations are associated with an improvement in their financial and economic activities. This is plus 4 billion rubles in the form of dividends on shares owned by the republic. The volume of expected revenues from the mineral extraction tax has been adjusted with an increase of 0.1 billion rubles,” - he explained.

At the same time, the expenditure side of the region's budget has also increased.

“The social component of the budget has been strengthened. Additional funds have been reserved to increase wages for public sector workers and to provide social support measures for participants in the special military operation and members of their families. The volume of expenditures of the Road Fund of the Republic has been significantly increased,” - Konstantin Tolkachev emphasized.

Thus, after all the clarifications, the volume of the republican budget in 2024 is:

— in terms of income — 298.9 billion rubles;

— expenses — 311.2 billion rubles;

— deficit — 12.3 billion rubles.

The press service of the regional Kurultai added that the budget parameters for the planning periods of 2025 and 2026 were left unchanged.

As Bashinform News Agency reported, budgets at all levels were executed without a deficit in Bashkiria in January-February.
