Bashkiria registered Russia's first drone cluster

Bashkiria has registered the first drone cluster in Russia, Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic Andrey Nazarov stated on his Telegram channel.

“The interregional cluster of unmanned aircraft is included in the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade register. It unites 13 enterprises - from Bashkortostan, Tula, Ryazan regions and the Republic of Karelia. The cluster received confirmation of compliance with the necessary requirements for industrial clusters,” noted Andrey Nazarov.

Inclusion in the register will allow enterprises to take advantage of federal and regional support measures for implementing joint import substitution projects. At the moment, there are nine clusters in Bashkiria.

Last year, the Directorate for the Development of the Unmanned Aviation Industry was launched in the region. It was created to coordinate work between interested structures and organizations, as well as to solve a wide range of problems - from creating the necessary infrastructure to introducing scientific achievements.

As Bashinform reported, four thousand drones will be produced in Bashkiria in 2024.
