Tourist complex construction project received priority status in Bashkiria

The project for constructing the Yumart family recreation center in the Baymaksky district is included in the list of priority projects in Bashkiria. The regional government press service reported this.

The Sirius company plans to build a new tourist complex on the shores of Lake Talkas. The first stage of construction will require investments of about 20.5 million rubles.

The investor was provided with information and consulting support, assistance in document preparation to include the project in the list of priorities, and further state support measures. In addition, an analysis of land plots potentially considered for expanding the recreation center's territory was carried out for the investor.

According to a representative of the Sirius company, at the first stage, it plans to equip modular guest apartments for 40 people and a camping area for 30 places. In addition, a rope park and a children's playground will appear on the recreation center's territory.

In 2023, more than 100 small and medium-sized businesses in the republic operating in the tourism sector received preferential financing totaling 1.63 billion rubles as part of the national project “Small and Medium Enterprises and Support for Individual Entrepreneurial Initiatives”. This is 2.1 times more than in 2022. As a result, Bashkiria hit the Top 10 in the Russian Federation in terms of the total volume of preferential financing received by SMEs in the tourism sector.

As Bashinform reported, in July 2023, the republican authorities significantly simplified the possibility of obtaining state support for investors, and one of the implemented tools was an agreement on the protection and promotion of investments. It allows the company to receive an income tax benefit (usually 20%), with an option of receiving benefits on the company’s property or applying an investment tax deduction.
